Tootsie Guevara (born Emma Theresa Pinga, August 17, 1980) is a former recording artist, actress, and television host. She began singing aged six, had released six albums by the age of twelve, and had hosted three television programmes. She was nominated Best Child Recording Artist at the 1990 Awit Awards.
She was the voice behind the hit singles "Pasulyap-sulyap" taken from her debut album Really Wanna Tell You and "Kaba" from her sophomore album of the same title.
She is also known as a "90's O.P.M Female Diva" with Female Pop Divas Roselle Nava Carol Banawa and Jolina Magdangal
She was also a former UNTV contract artist and was mostly in Dating Daan with Bro. Eli Soriano.
She later graduated in 2003 in Hotel Restaurant and Management from Quezon City and married her Filipino-American husband in Manila in 2005. The coupled had a son and later separated.[1] During an interview with TFC's Balitang America, it was revealed that she now works as a marketing executive in the healthcare industry and has since remarried in 2012 to Mike Monaco, an Italian-American. The couple were also expecting their first child within two months.[2] In 2013, Star Music released her first and only greatest hits album, Kaba: Tootsie Guevara's Greatest Hits. It features her numerous hits which made hit in the late 1990s and early 2000s, all are in high definition remastered format. On August 16, 2015 she appeared as a guest on Sunday PinaSaya to perform her hit songs while being bullied by AiAi delas Alas and Marian Rivera-Dantes. This marked her first television performance since her retirement from showbiz.
