Trevor Evans

The Very Rev Trevor Owen Evans was an eminent Anglican priest in the last decades of the 20th century and the early part of the 21st.
Born on 10 July 1937[1] and educated at Dolgellau Boys’ Grammar School and UCW, Aberystwyth and ordained after a period of study at the College of the Resurrection, Mirfield in 1962.

[2] He was Curate then Vicar of Barmouth until 1975. He then spent a further 14 years in charge at Llanidloes. Further incumbencies at Trefdraeth and Penmynydd followed before his appointment as Dean of Bangor in 1988. He retired in 2003.[3]
