Ty Long (born April 6, 1993) was an American football placekicker for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of Alabama at Birmingham and holds records for career field goals as well as the longest field goal in school history. He also played for the Washington Redskins.

Professional career

Washington Redskins

On May 7, 2015, Long signed with the Washington Redskins to compete with placekicker Kai Forbath.[1] On August 30, 2015, he was waived.[2]

Pittsburgh Steelers

On January 20, 2016, Long signed a reserve/future contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers.[3] On May 5, 2016, he was waived,[4]
