The Urban News Service (UNS) is a news agency in the United States. The service focuses on African Americans and news issues pertinent to that community; black newspapers that are members of UNS can carry its stories for free. UNS is a subsidiary of the American Media Institute.

UNS was founded and is published by Andre M. Johnson, who had previously coordinated the media campaign of Rev. Al Sharpton when he became leader of the Democratic Party.
