Vanita Srivastava(Born 28 April 1964) is an Indian journalist, presently working in the Hindustan Times. She currently resides in Bhopal. She previously has worked in United News of India for about 9 years. She is famous for her contributions like "A brother's story", "Master your mind", and "Gita my light".

Early life

Vanita was born in the city of Patna. She was sent to the Welham Girls School, Dehradun. She studied there till her 10th grade. After that she went to the famous Scindia School in Gwalior. She completed her MSc in Chemistry from IIT Kanpur, in the year 1987.

Career

Vanita worked for the United News of India(UNI) from 1996 to 2005. She wrote articles, some of which were published in newspapers like Times of India. She joined Hindustan Times in 2005 as a feature editor. Her famous article A brother's story was also seen in Pearson Education's English book in Singapore.
