Velmurugan is a South Indian film playback singer, who shot to fame with folk songs like Madura in Subramaniapuram and Aadungada in Naadodigal and the recent Otha Sollala in Aadukalam.[1] He considers being called by James Vasanthan as one of the turning points in his life.[2]

Personal life

Velmurugan is married and has a 3-year-old daughter.[3]
