Veronica Rodrigues

Veronica Filomena Rodrigues (1953-2010) was a Kenyan born Indian biologist. Veronica did her B.A with honors in Microbiology. After Inspired by the work of Prof.Obaid Siddiqi and his co-workers, she moved to India to carry out her Ph.D.[1] She served as a senior professor at the National Centre for Biological Sciences, Bangalore. She was awarded a 2004 Senior National Woman Bioscientist Award.[2]

Life

She worked for the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research[3] and was a fellow of the Indian National Science Academy.[4]
