Vincent Pontare mostly known as Vincent (born 13 May 1980 in Solna, Stockholm County) is a Swedish singer and songwriter.

Songwriter / Producer

At the Swedish Grammy Awards 2014 Vincent, together with Magnus Lidehäll and Salem Al Fakir, were awarded the “Composer of the Year” award[1] after a very successful and productive year including the albums of Veronica Maggio and Petter, as well as work with artist like Katy Perry, Sebastian Ingrosso, Seinabo Sey, Mapei and Galantis.

Vincent have had several local and international hits throughout his career, including “Waiting For Love" by Avicii (2015), “Sun Is Shining" by Axwell /\ Ingrosso (2015), “The Days” by Avicii (2014), “Younger” by Seinabo Sey (2014), “Hey Brother” by Avicii (2013), “Reload” by Sebastian Ingrosso and Tommy Trash (2013), “Sergels Torg” by Veronica Maggio (2013), “You Make Me” by Avicii (2013) and “Save The World” by Swedish House Mafia (2011).

Personal life

Vincent Pontare is the son of Roger Pontare[2] and Elisabeth Pontare. His father is a Swedish musician who took part in Eurovision Song Contest twice representing Sweden with "Stjärnorna" (1994, in a duet with Marie Bergman) and "When Spirits Are Calling My Name" (2000), placing 13th and 7th, respectively in the competition.

He has two brothers, Jimmy Åkerlund his senior and Viktor his junior.[3] He presently resides in Vasastan in Stockholm.

Vincent began dating Swedish singer Agnes Carlsson in 2009. The couple's engagement was announced in April 2013.[4]
