Lukas Ruiz was born in the New World, the Mato Grosso do Sul, where he lived and studied until completing high school in Educational Center New World Mickey and where was your interest pala electronic music with a CD of hard trance of an uncle he found . Until then too was enjoying the electronic bands of the 80s, such as New Order and Depeche Mode, but did not know that side more dance floor. He moved to Maringá, Paraná, at age 19 and joined the law school but dropped out halfway to devote himself to music. It was in his apartment in Maringa Lukas spent three years locked up and focused on their productions. At first, no money to invest in production equipment, Lukas went to a house in the neighborhood lan to download programs and returning home with their positive notebook with 128 of RAM memory, which was his father's gift for study and isolated himself by hours, his father broke few repeatedly equipment he had, even without the support of family, Lukas did not give up. At the time, he still signed as Lukas Ruiz, but to realize that it would always be related to Victor Ruiz, an important figure of the Techno in Brazil, felt the need to create a name for your project. It was to produce a different song in which he was trying to improve and Lukas passion for old music and its influences from the 80's came the insight of the Vintage name, which soon gained the complement and turned it into Vintage Culture.[3]

His first song posted on SoundClod was the remix of "Blue Monday" by New Order, which soon began to viralized network. Following came the remix free download Pink Floyd "Another brick in the wall," Lukas did not believe much in this range and the left leaning for a while, until his friend Marcelo Fiorela to hear it encouraged him to publish the network . It was with this band that began to appear requests dates and people interested in knowing the Vintage Culture project, but Lukas Ruiz knew it was necessary more than one song to become a good DJ, refused the requests and continued focused on their productions, which each time adding more were plays and followers on the network.

It was in 2013 that Vintage Culture began to play, Marcelo Fiorela was a member of the former Groove DJ Agency alongside Luiz room to, known as DJ Ugly, which was responsible for Booka it for the first time in Green Valley, club collecting world titles in DJ Mag, it was then that things began to change. Soon after his presentation, Guga Trevisani, one of the partners of Entourage Content Artistic, one of the largest agencies in Brazil, contacted by phone and made the call to the Vintage Culture project to enter the casting agency. Lukas knew he was not ready to enter into an agency such as Entourage, thinking it would not receive due attention at the time he declined the invitation and remained focused on the expansion of the project, it was only in 2014 – a year later – that Vintage Culture entered for Entourage,[4] the same year he lost his father, a year full of events that changed the direction of Lukas of life, more than 200 dates throughout Brazil and meteoric growth.

With the support of an entire team and its managers Marcelo Arditti and Guga Trevisani, 2015 was a year of great achievements for Vintage Culture. Starting with his presentation on the Stage Perry Lollapalooza Brazil on March 28,[5] sharing the stage with DJ Snake, Dillon Francis and Major Lazer and recording its first international video, "Slowing Down", in New York. While their versions of "Bidolibido" Fernanda Abreu and "Bete balance" of Cazuza accumulated plays and fans throughout Brazil, the public had the chance to know more about the young phenomenon behind the design on the cover of the 41st edition of the Brazilian magazine electronic music House Mag in April of the same year. But not only were the Brazilians who surrendered his trademark, an infusion of Big Room with Deep House. Belgian Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike invited personally Vintage Culture to perform on stage Smash The House in Tomorrowland Brazil in May, shortly after Lukas signed the remix of "Higher Place" the duo with the American singer Ne-Yo.[6]

In June 2015, Vintage Culture held its first international tour, going through countries like Egypt, UAE, Turkey, Ireland, Spain and Belgium. In September, it was the turn of breaking South Africa and return to Brazil for their first performance at Rock in Rio. But do not stop there, it was in the Entourage event, the Kaballah Festival, Lukas debuted his new intro presenting hit "Hollywood", which later signed the Ganzá seal Skol Music in Brazil and the international Spinnin Records. 2015 was also marked by his performance at the ADE night Loulou Records and Live in Amsterdam with Goldfish and Bakermat. His residence in Green Valley, which was a surprise night including himself Lukas and voted by the audience. And ending with Electric Daisy Carnival Brazil,[7] that was certainly one of the most exciting times of the year, Lukas performed in two stages of the festival, the neonGARDEN and kineticFIELD (main stage) replacing Cazzette the festival closing. If nothing else the responsibility of closing, Vintage Culture was surprised by Skrillex at the end of his presentation interacting with fans. After the festival, Lukas was invited to perform at the main stage of the EDC Mexico in February next year, would be one of the first artists to open the kineticFIELD and so their expectations were nothing much, but the public once again surprised and even very early, the main stage was already full.[8]

In 2016, Mexico to Los Angeles, Vintage Culture gathered his team again for an international clip recording, this time in Hollywood. It was during the recording Lukas felt swollen and his manager warned about a possible Caxumba. Lukas went to the doctor as soon as he returned to Brazil and was diagnosed with this contagious disease that affects the glands of the throat, the recommendation of the doctors was absolute rest, but Lukas did not want to cancel his shows, he fulfilled the agenda, which was quite exhausting for your body and ended up aggravating the clinical picture, not to mention that some fans accused him of not being in it shows because of the dejected appearance and swelling of the face that made him almost unrecognizable. Lukas needed rest and was forbidden to hold concerts until he recovered, was how he lost one of the most important shows of his career so far, his presentation at the 18th edition of the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Vintage Culture would present the main stage on Saturday March 19, 2016.[9]

But 2016 did not disappoint, fan support was essential and new goals were being achieved, as the contract with Spin Agency, one of the largest international representation agencies that have on your casting artists like Avicii and Armin van Buuren, in addition to the contract with the Dutch giant Spinnin Records. In addition to closing the year as owner of his own club, the Air Rooftop located in downtown São Paulo. As an entrepreneur this other hand, Lukas does not look at the bottom line, but to offer the best experience to get or to give back in return rather than earned, i.e. the projects he gets involved need to have some differential.
