Waka waka (Aymara and Quechua waka cow[1][2] (a borrowing from Spanish vaca), the reduplication signifies that there is a group of something, "a group of cows") or waka thuquri[3] (Aymara), also spelled waka thuqhuri, is a satirical folk dance performed in Bolivia[3] and Peru. In Peru it is a typical dance of the Cusco and Puno regions.[4]
