Awards Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross

Wilhelm 'Willi' Schneckenburger (30 March 1891 – 14 October 1944) was a German general in the Wehrmacht during World War II who commanded the XVII Army Corps. He was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Schneckenburger was killed in action on 14 October 1944.
