Zero Hubbard

ZERO HUBBARD

Zero Hubbard, also known as Zerondrick Hubbard, is an American actor best known for his childhood roles in the 1980s.

Zero Hubbard was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on February 22, 1971.

Career

Hubbard is perhaps best known for his appearances on the American television series Hill Street Blues, on which he played four roles. From 1983 to early 1984 he appeared three times as two different child characters - Speedboat, and Spencer Rutledge.[1] However, he is best remembered for the role of Fabian DeWitt, an impoverished black kid left to fend for himself by his mother who was an alcoholic and drug-addicted prostitute. His case is championed by Sergeant Lucy Bates (played by Emmy winner Betty Thomas), who finally adopts Fabian. Zero Hubbard starred in this role from November 1984 until the program ended in 1987.

Hubbard enjoyed a number of minor roles in other programs, none of which gave him the same exposure as Hill Street Blues. After Hill Street Blues ended, Hubbard had a limited number of small parts in American television programs, with his final TV credit in 2002.
