Zonya Foco

Zonya Foco, RD, CHFI, CSP, is an American dietitian, professional speaker, nutrition expert, entrepreneur, television chef and writer, focusing more on healthy eating than on dieting.

Foco is the only Registered Dietitian (RD) and Certified Health and Fitness Instructor (CHFI) in the United States to have earned the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation. Before launching her speaking, writing, and publishing career in 1994, Foco received her bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University and then worked for eight years as a clinical nutritionist for the Michigan Heart and Vascular Institute at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan.[1][2] Foco has one child, Ridge Foco, an up-and-coming singer.

Writings

Her experiences led her to write Lickety-Split Meals for Health Conscious People on the Go in 1998. She also authored The Power of One Good Habit and Water With Lemon.[3]
