Zoran "Kizo" Marušić (Serbian Cyrillic: Зоран Марушић; born 29 November 1993) is a Serbian football defender who plays for FK Krupa.[1]

Career

He made his first football steps in football school "Bambi" in Kraljevo, and later he moved in youth categories of Sloga Kraljevo.[2]

Sloga Kraljevo

2010-11

Marušić is product of Sloga Kraljevo. He made his first senior appearances for Sloga in season 2010–11, when Sloga won league and returned in Serbian First League. He made 6 appearances.

2011-12

In first half of season Sloga's return in Serbian First League, Marušić didn't play. In second part of season he entered the game from the bench, and after good games and injuries of some standard players, Marušić started some matches. He got chances often on defensive midfielder position, and sometimes as centre-back. He made 13 league appearances and scored 1 goal.[3]

2012-13

After Boban Dmitrović's and Rašo Babić's retirements, Marušić started season on stopper place, together with Nemanja Miletić. Because of inexperience and bad luck, Sloga started season with problems in defense, and a lot of goals conceded. He although can play on stopper place, but that is not his original position on the field, because he is more offensive player. New coach, Neško Milovanović brought Nenad Živanović in second half of season.[4] He played 7 matches, and then he left the club because of private causes,[5] so Marušić returned on the stopper place. However, he injured before the end of season,[6] and Stefan Drašković took place in defense instead of Zoran Marušić. Marušić played 28 league appearances[7] and 1 cup match.[8][9]

2013-14

Stefan Drašković played very well on the stopper place and he gave excellent games, so he had secure place in defense along with Nemanja Miletić. Coach Veljko Dovedan moved Marušić in midfield, but players with more experience had advantage and Marušić started season as reserve player after recovory from injury. He was starting matches from the bench, and adopted in starting 11 after Miloš Janićijević's injury, but he injured in shortly time, too. But, he scored 5 goals on two matches, before that.[2][10] They had problems with injuries nearly until the end of first half of season. However, Marušić scored 2 more goals[11][12] until the end of season and became one of the most effective players that fall.[13] He is one of the most responsible for all 7 Sloga's home wins in first half of season 2013–14. Then he had dispute with the club,[14] because he requested breaking contract.[15] After his request was denied as groundless, he apologized to teammates and supporters and returned in team in 4th spring fixture.[16][17] He played at all matches until the end of season, 8 times as starter, and 4 times he entered game from the bench. He made 22 league appearances, with 7 goals scored, and cup match against Vojvodina.[18][19]

Loaning to Voždovac

After Sloga's permission to all players for leaving the club,[20] Anđelković moved to Voždovac on loan along with Dragoljub Anđelković.[21] He have earned the right to play in 3rt fixture against Rad, when he was substituted in for Ognjen Damnjanović on the beginning of second part of the game.[22] After his SuperLiga debut, he started next match, versus Čukarički.[23]

Return to Sloga Kraljevo

He and Dragoljub Anđelković returned in Sloga in January 2015.[24][25] He injured on 3rd spring fixture, and he didn't play until 22 fixture, against Moravac Mrštane, when he scored spectacular goal from free kick.[26] He was in starting 11 in next fixture against Radnik Surdulica, but he injured again and he left the game before the half-time.[27]
