atmosph3re is a locally hosted, web-based music streaming software that allows users to manage and stream music files that are part of their personal music collection,[1] over wifi, cabled network, or the Internet.

History

Initially developed in 2005 to answer Turbine interactive's internal needs, atmosph3re has been created to manage and stream individual music collections.

atmosph3re has been deployed amongst techno/electronica DJs and music lovers in Montreal and Quebec in Canada.

Development

atmosph3re has been in continuous development by Guillaume Carrier, from Turbine interactive (Montreal - Canada), since 2005.

Initially, Turbine interactive specialized in providing eLearning and distance learning solutions. Its main focus has since been reoriented towards providing solutions to small and medium-sized companies, and towards providing a universal personal music streaming solution for universal mobile devices and desktops alike.[10]
