The Dynamo 2012–13 season is Dynamo's twentysecond Ukrainian Premier League season, and their third season under manager Yuri Semin. Yuri Semin was sacked 24 September 2012 after losing by Dynamo to principal rivals FC Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukrainian Cup. 25 September 2012 the new manager of team was appointed Oleh Blokhin. During the season Dynamo Kyiv will compete in the Ukrainian Premier League, Ukrainian Cup and in the UEFA Champions League.

1 Tavria Simferopol were deducted 3 points for non compliance with contractual agreements with player agents.[4]
2 Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih were denied a license for the 2013–14 season due to financial problems and were expelled.[5][6]
3Both Hoverla Uzhhorod and Metalurh Zaporizhya were to be relegated from the Premier League. Number of clubs refused promotion leaving two vacant positions which were awarded to the relegating clubs.[7][8][9]
