2017–18

The 2016–17 Segunda División B season will be the 39th since its establishment. The first matches of the season will be played in August 2016, and the season will end in June 2017 with the promotion play-off finals.

Overview before the season

80 teams will join the league, including four relegated from the 2015–16 Segunda División and 18 promoted from the 2015–16 Tercera División.
