Abu Qash (Arabic: ابو قش) is a Palestinian town located in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate in the northern West Bank, 6 kilometers (3.7 mi) north of Ramallah and 1 kilometer (0.62 mi) south of the Birzeit University. According to a census conducted in 1931 by the British Mandate authorities, Khirbet Abu Qash had a population of 246 inhabitants, in 49 houses.[1] According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, it had a population of approximately 1,404 in 2007.[2]
