Alen Omić (born May 6, 1992) is a Bosnian-born Slovenian professional basketball player for Anadolu Efes of the Turkish Basketball Super League and the Euroleague.

Professional career

Omić started playing professional basketball for Zlatorog Laško. In 2009, he signed with Zlatorog and stayed with the club for three seasons until 2012.

On August 30, 2012, Omić signed a four-year deal with Union Olimpija.[1]

In July 2014, Omić joined the Brooklyn Nets for the 2014 NBA Summer League.[2] He returned to the Summer League the following year for the Denver Nuggets.

On August 1, 2015, Omić signed a two-year deal with Gran Canaria.[3] He made a good impression from the jump and was rewarded to All Eurocup First Team.

On June 28, 2016, Omić signed a two-year deal with Turkish club Anadolu Efes.[4]

International career

Omić made his debut for the Slovenian national team at the 2014 World Cup.[5] He also represented Slovenia at the 2015 EuroBasket where they were eliminated by Latvia in eighth finals.[6][7]
