Ashin (Persian: اشین، عشين, also Romanized as ʿAshīn) is a village in Chupanan Rural District, Anarak District, Nain County, Isfahan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its existence was noted, but its population was not reported. The famous story about Ashin is related to a female sheriff, Ms. Gohar, who saved the village from strangers and Brigands about 2000 years ago. Ashin was a great village at its era and many famous historian wrote about Ashin, including Sven Hedin and. Recently second Gohar came back to the village and repaired 2000-year-old mud-stone houses and prepared an ancient Eco-village for the visitors. 50 Km from Anarak city, at the heart of Dasht-e Kavir desert, on top of a mountain breathtaking “Ashin” village awaits adventurers from around the world. The village has a lot to offer and there are some stunning features which distinguishes the village from others.[1]
