Dream FM Network is a radio network based in the Philippines. It was founded in March 2010 by former ABC/TV5 chairman Antonio "Tonyboy" Cojuangco, program director Robyn Narciso and stockholder Anton Lagdameo as a spin-off after it was not part of its former parent ABC Development Corporation (now TV5 Network, Inc.)'s acquisition by MediaQuest Holdings, Inc..

History

In April 2004, six months after Tonyboy Cojuangco took over the management of ABC, 106.7 was reformatted as Dream FM. The station aired in a smooth jazz format added up with R&B, Soul, Bossa Nova and House. The station branding was named after Dream Satellite TV, also owned by Cojuangco.

After MediaQuest Holdings, Inc. acquired TV5 in 2010, Dream FM and its affiliate stations in other parts of the country remained under the Cojuangco management led by former ABC stockholder Anton Lagdameo. However, TV5 remained as its licensee until June 2011. On the other hand, MediaQuest manages Radyo5 92.3 News FM, owned by its TV5 affiliate, Nation Broadcasting Corporation.

Dream FM Manila signed off at June 30, 2011 with the song, "Till We Meet Again". Its provincial stations were shut down a month before. It continues to broadcast intermittently online through Hayag. On September 2011, Dream FM Boracay was rechristened as Boracay Beach Radio. On its website, it is described as a "part of the Dream FM Network".

Energy FM Manila transferred to 106.7 on July 1, 2011. The station is referred to as "Energy FM on Dream". This is a temporary partnership between Cojuangco & Ultrasonic Broadcasting System, which took part-ownership of the station.[1][2]
