Emys is a small genus of turtles. Species assigned to this genus include:^[2]

• Emys orbicularis – European pond turtle^[3]
• Emys trinacris – Sicilian pond turtle ^[3][4]
• Emys blandingii – Blanding's turtle ^[3][5]
• Emys marmorata – Western pond turtle^[3]

The two North American species, E. blandingii and E. marmorata, are sometimes separated into their own genera (Emydoidea and Actinemys respectively).^[6]
