Krupski (Belarusian: Крупскі, Polish: Krupski, Russian: Крупский, Ukrainian: Крупський, Lithuanian: Krupskis) - Belorussian[1] is a noble (gentry) family from Eastern Europe. This surname is popular in modern Poland.[2]

In the 15th century under the influence of Slavic culture, in Polish texts there is definitely a modern form of the surname Krupski. Already in 1534, a Latin text contains the name "Crupsky".[5] in 1550 - "Crupski" (the Act of completing his studies at the Cracow University of Krupski Valery[6]). In the Old Belorussian and Russian texts of the 19th century - "Крупскій (Крупскі)" or "Крупский". Surnames in Russian Empire became standard later than noble, after the abolition of serfdom in 1861 (Peasant Reform in Russia).[7] Unique in the history of this family is Prince Krupski (Andrey Kurbsky).
