Led Zeppelin reached number one with their compilation album Mothership.
American musician Slash topped the UK Rock Chart with his eponymously titled debut album.
Muse topped the chart for ten weeks during the year with The Resistance.
Foo Fighters reached number one at both the start and the end of 2010 with their Greatest Hits collection.
