• The Jagged Orbit (1969) by John Brunner envisions a race war between 'Blanks' (whites) and 'Kneeblanks' (non-whites) in the United States in 2014.
• The Guns of the South (1992) by Harry Turtledove has a gang of white supremacists travel back in time to the American Civil War from 2014.

Film

• Moon Child (2003)
• EPIC 2014 (2004): The plot concludes in this year.
• The Dark Knight Rises (2012): The film was set eight years after The Dark Knight (2008)
• White House Down (2013): The events of this film take place on October 4, 2014.
• Pacific Rim (2013): The Mexican city of Cabo San Lucas is the target of a kaiju attack in 2014.
• Godzilla (2014): Most of the film takes place this year.

Television

• In the 2009 Supernatural episode "The End", the angel Zachariah sends Dean Winchester to 2014.
• The fifth season of Ghost Whisperer (2009-2010) takes place in 2014-15.

• Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations (2004): The first case in the game, called "Turnabout Memories", takes place on April 11, 2014, as Phoenix Wright is accused of murdering Doug Swallow (both of them university students) after an argument. This marks the first time that Phoenix met defense attorney Mia Fey, his future mentor.
