Nitta Station (新田駅 Nitta-eki) is a railway station on the Tōhoku Main Line in Tome, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).

History

Nitta Station opened on January 4, 1894. The station was absorbed into the JR East network upon the privatization of the Japanese National Railways (JNR) on April 1, 1987. A new station building was completed on July 31, 2011.
