The Peoria City Council election of 2013 was held on April 9 of 2013 and consisted of 5 races for the five district seats on the city council. In only three of the five races did incumbents run for reelection, and only one was successful. The elections coincided with the unopposed reelection of Jim Ardis to a third term Mayor. The unopposed election for Mayor may have contributed to the very low voter turnout.
