Rum is an upcoming Indian Tamil horror film, written and directed by Sai Bharath.[1] Featuring Hrishikesh, Narain, Sanchita Shetty and Miya George in the lead roles, the film's score and soundtrack is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The film began production during early 2016. The first single, 'Hola Amigo', was released on 25 April 2016. The next single, "Peiyophobilia", was released on 22 September 2016 and was sung by STR. An album is scheduled to be released later in 2016.Rum movie Terrific Teaser has been released on 17 November 2016.[2]

Production
The film began pre-production works during October 2015, with composer Anirudh Ravichander revealing that he would work on a film titled Rum directed by Sai Bharath and starring his cousin, Hrishikesh, in the lead role.[3] The project was announced to be funded by All in Pictures, while the director stated that it would be a horror film.[4]
In February 2016, the film's first look poster was unveiled, with actresses Sanchita Shetty and Mia George revealed as the film's lead actresses. Narain, Vivek and Amzath Khan were announced to be playing supporting roles in the film.[5][6]

The film's music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. As of now, Hola Amigo sung by Anirudh Ravichander and Peiyophobila sung by STR have been released. Sid Sriram will be sing a song for the album as well. The album received positive reviews from both audiences and critics. Behindwoods rated the album 3.0/5 stated that "Verdict: Rum is an EDM intoxicant from Anirudh, which is addictive".[7] OnlyKollywood rated the album 3.02 out of 5 stated that "Rapid, high-spirited soundtrack!". The track list album has been released through via official Twitter page of Anirudh Ravichander. The album consist of 7 tracks. The audio rights of the film was acquired by Sony Music. The album has been released on 2 November 2016.
