The 8th District of the Wisconsin Senate is located in Southern Wisconsin, and is composed of parts of Milwaukee County, Ozaukee County, and Washington County.[1]

Alberta Darling is the senator serving the 8th district. She was first elected in 1992, and has been re-elected every four years since.

The area of the 8th Senate District contains three State Assembly Districts:[2]

The district is also located within Wisconsin's 5th congressional district, which is represented by U.S. Representative Jim Sensenbrenner,[3] Wisconsin's 6th congressional district, which is represented by U.S. Representative Tom Petri, and Wisconsin's 4th congressional district which is represented by U.S. Representative Gwen Moore.
