Zairean presidential election, 1977

A presidential election was held in Zaire on 3 December 1977. The only candidate was Mobutu Sese Seko and the election took the format of a "yes" or "no" vote for Mobutu's candidacy. The results showed 98.2% of voters casting a "yes" vote.[1]
