Notre Dame High School is a private, Roman Catholic high school in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Springfield-Cape Girardeau.

Background

Notre Dame High School was established in 1925 as St. Mary High School by the Sisters of Notre Dame. The school relocated in 1954 and was renamed Cape Girardeau Catholic High School. Four years after the creation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Springfield-Cape Girardeau, the school was renamed Notre Dame High School in 1960. In 1998 construction of a new academic building was completed and opened to currently enrolled students. The school currently serves as the largest private high school between Memphis and St. Louis.[2]
