Digor (Ottoman Turkish: ديغور,[3] Armenian: Տեկոր, Tekor, Kurdish: Dîxor), is a district of Kars Province in the Eastern Anatolia region of Turkey, and the name of the small town that is the district's administrative capital. The population of the town is 2,647. The mayor is Ekrem Bingül (BDP).Some suggests that the name of the settlement comes from Digor people whose are branch of Ossetians.
