Industry and Labor Committee (Georgia House)

The House Industry and Labor Committee is a 13 member legislative body consisting of a chairman, a vice-chairman, a secretary, and 10 members. The Committee operates under a House mandate to evaluate legislation affecting labor and management relations.[1]

Scope and jurisdiction

The House Industry and Labor Committee is responsible for legislation that deals with all issues surrounding Georgia's workforce and overseeing management relations throughout the state. The committee also has jurisdiction over "matters dealing with Worker's Compensation and Georgia's Worker's Compensation Board".[1]
