Inspiration is an populated place in Gila County, Arizona, in the United States.[2] It has an estimated elevation of 3,927 feet (1,197 m) above sea level.[1]

History

A post office called Inspiration was established in 1917, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1983.[3] According to tradition, the community was so named when a local prospector dreamed of finding a mine, and his dream came true.[4]
